Gigabyte Black Edition

We spend a few days with Gigabyte to shoot a short video showcasing the manufacturing process of their black edition computer motherboard.

About Gigabyte

Gigabyte Technology is a leading global manufacturer of computer hardware, particularly known for its high-performance motherboards. Gigabyte has become a go-to brand for gamers, professionals, and enthusiasts alike. Their motherboards are known for reliability, innovative features, and support for cutting-edge technologies.

The Challenge

Within a few weeks of the Computex trade shows, GIGABYTE scheduled the launch of their new Black Edition motherboards.

GIGABYTE needed to tell the story behind the improved manufacturing and testing process, in order to promote the new product line.

That’s why GIGABYTE got in touch with EPEAK Studio. For this project, they tasked us with designing, filming and editing this promotional video.

What we did

In summary, our mission was to showcase what makes GIGABYTE Black Edition different. We did that by showing how these exceptional products are manufactured and what makes them different.

For this video, we divided production in two separate steps.

First, our experienced videographers filmed an interview of the company’s head of marketing.

Then, we headed to the factory floor in order to document the complete manufacturing and testing process from A to Z.

On location, we used advanced cinematic techniques. This was to better do justice to the impressively complex process that goes into making high-quality PC components.

Our experienced editing team then expertly combined all the footage to deliver a stunning final video, to the great satisfaction of the client.

Results

The Black Edition motherboard series and it’s VIP program received praises from international tech press and enthusiasts alike. Using the video as a storytelling support, GIGABYTE successfully conveyed the value of it’s new product line up without any compromise.

GYGABYTE published the video on their social networks and YouTube channel. Finally, they also used it offline on trade-shows and in-store displays.
