ESCAIDE is a leading epidemiology conference organised every year by the ECDC.
For three days, attendees enjoy conferences featuring leading researchers in their field.
EPEAK Studio managed and produced the four day symposium. Effectively, our team combined pre-recorded medical conference material with live discussion panels featuring researchers from all over the world.
The conference also featured live speeches from industry executives, all broadcast from the ECDC headquarters’ on-site studio in Stockholm.
To achieve success, EPEAK Studio coordinated its efforts with a Master of Ceremony from a Brussels studio and an A/V production unit in ECDC headquarters. Thanks to this method, ECDC executives were able to give opening and closing speeches and moderate keynotes.
To oversee the project as a whole, EPEAK Studio worked closely with Teamwork, ECDC’s own event planning agency.
With a distributed workforce in the EU and North America, EPEAK Studio was able to get every speaker onboard and ready on time, while efficiently coordinating ESCAIDE 2020 during the event.
Finally, EPEAK Studio also teamed up with its valued partner, Sparkup, to offer interactive on-screen games and polls, entertaining the audience at key moments during the conference.

Over the four event days, we hosted 80 speakers, delivered 90 sessions, and produced 40 hours of video content.
