The Challenge

TALI CONNECTED is an award-winning French start-up creating intuitive, integrated, and forward-thinking equipment for motorcyclists.

In Q4 2021, TALI CONNECTED trusted our expertise to help launch their global crowdfunding campaign.

Our mission was to create and manage a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign to launch TALI CONNECTED’s award-winning products: the iT-C Smart Helmet and the SP-1 Safety Beacon.

TALI won prestigious global tech show awards, such as the Innovation Award at CES 2020 and 2022. However, the brand’s reputation and social presence were limited outside of France.
In fact, all marketing assets were only available in French, and needed to be adapted to a global audience.

Lastly, we worked with another agency specializing in “everything” Kickstarter to follow the platform’s rules and specifications.

What we did

We provided a full range of services to increase the campaign’s success.

  • Social media audit: Compare TALI’s social presence to its competitors and learn lessons from their successful crowdfunding campaigns. 
  • Messaging deck: Adapt the brand’s message to the US market and share a consistent message across all marketing assets. 
  • Assets translation and creation: Create all the brand’s marketing assets for the US market.
  • Video production: Imagine, shoot, and edit a high-end video showcasing TALI CONNECTED functionalities that would be used as the cornerstone of the Kickstarter campaign
  • Organic and paid social campaign: Create, manage, and schedule social media content
  • Kickstarter partner: Work closely with TALI’s Kickstarter agency to synchronize marketing efforts and optimize success.

Results

The Kickstarter campaign was successful and exceeded more than 300% of its initial funding goal.
