It offers two days of rich learning and networking opportunities for cybersecurity professionals.

The Challenge

GoSec is a premier cybersecurity conference organized annually by GoSecure in Montréal, Québec.

Since 2020, EPEAK Studio has managed and delivered a range of services for this event, going from live streaming to badge printing and digital signage.

Building on the success of GOSEC 2024, we deployed BadgeIt! for on-demand badge printing and EventSign for digital signage. These tools enhanced the experience for both attendees and organisers.

This year, we introduced our new speaker & exhibitor management platform, My.EPEAK. Fully integrated, it helps event organizers save a tremendous amount of time.

Alongside our advanced event services, we provided a complete, integrated and worry-free service for GoSecure.

What we did

EPEAK Studio provided a comprehensive range of services to ensure a seamless, high-impact event.

Project Management with Automated Tools

Like in previous years, we used ProjectSheet, our successful project management platform that centralizes all event-related data. With real-time updates shared across the project team and a powerful automated event platform integration, ProjectSheet is the cornerstone of a stress-free event. 

Enter information once, see it propagated everywhere. It’s that simple!

This year, we also introduced My.Epeak, our in-house speaker and exhibitor management solution. Fully integrated, My.Epeak connects with the whole Epeak ecosystem and provides a single point of data entry for event organizers. This saves a tremendous amount of time and reduces the risk for human error.

AV Production

We deployed EPEAK Studio’s IP-based AV workflow in the plenary room and five breakout rooms, to enable live streaming and video recording.

This streamlined setup delivers high-end results with controlled costs, thanks to optimized equipment and manpower requirements.

Badge Printing & Registration

Building on Gosec 2024’s successful introduction of BadgeIt!, we took advantage of it again this year, to provide stress-free registration and check-in experience for attendees and event organizers.

A full-featured event registration and badge printing solution, BadgeIt! removes the need for managing data transfer between two separate systems. With its centralized dashboard, it makes clear, up-to-date real-time information available to event organisers.

BadgeIt! offers fast on-demand badge printing, a major step-up compared to legacy pre-printed badges. In fact, attendees get the chance to update their information before printing, avoiding costly reprints due to errors.

With BadgeIt!, wait times were significantly reduced at registration, which made on-site registration more efficient and stress-free for attendees and event staff.

Registration & Event Platform integration

BadgeIt!’s registration system enables greater personalization in managing tickets, coupon codes, and data tracking based on GoSec’s requirements.

With a native integration with the Swapcard event platform, it ensured seamless real-time data flow. EPEAK Studio managed setup, configuration, and guest communications, creating a streamlined experience for attendees.

Digital Signage

After last year’s successful introduction of EventSign, EPEAK Studio once again installed digital event signs across the venue. This dynamic, digital signage solution displays a rolling set of daily schedules, session details, and sponsor information.

Synchronized with the Swapcard event platform, these digital displays allowed real-time updates to room agendas from a centralized dashboard. This saves time and resources while providing an eco-friendly alternative to printed materials.

Interpretation

EPEAK Studio deployed PolyPlay, a digital interpretation solution designed for both on-site and remote participants. In the plenary room, attendees could simply scan QR codes displayed on screens or signage to access live interpretation through their own devices and headphones.

For virtual attendees, the PolyPlay player was seamlessly integrated into the event platform, enabling easy language switching and ensuring an inclusive experience for all.

Design

EPEAK Studio oversaw the design and setup of GoSec 2025’s conference spaces. Speakers could choose between a lectern or comfortable seating, offering both versatility and professionalism. The team also created all visual elements, ensuring a cohesive look and a strong reflection of GoSec’s brand identity throughout the venue.

Photography

EPEAK Studio’s in-house photographer captured snapshots of the event. Aside from creating great marketing material, this creates lasting memories for attendees, immortalizing new or renewed connections between professionals.

Results

Building on the success of GoSec 2024, EPEAK Studio once again delivered an exceptional conference experience for GoSec 2025. Leveraging our event production expertise and innovative tools – including My.Epeak, BadgeIt!, EventSign, PolyPlay, and ProjectSheet – we ensured Gosec 2025 was a seamless and engaging event.

The conference drew over 1,500 in-person and virtual attendees, helping GoSecure expand its reach and deliver a superior experience to cybersecurity professionals.

Swapcard

Headquartered in Paris and founded by three childhood friends, Swapcard offers a combination of virtual and hybrid events, event mobile and web app, meeting and matchmaking software and an exhibitor retrieval system. As of late 2019, Swapcard has offices in Dubai and Canada, and was in the process of opening offices in the United States.

Palais des congrès de Montréal

Located in the heart of a city known for its energy, joie de vivre and forward-thinking spirit, the Palais has been actively contributing to Montréal’s effervescence since Day One. Today, when people meet at the Palais, they come together in a carbon-neutral architectural masterpiece housing multipurpose facilities suitable for events of all sizes.

While the Palais does not offer accommodation rooms directly, it is located next to over 16000 hotel rooms within walking distance, including 4000 accessible via the underground pedestrian network.
