The challenge
The event industry is currently going through a revolution. As everyone’s business model is shifting away from physical events to virtual ones, Swapcard is taking the helm by hosting an online conference to inspire event professionals worldwide.
What we did
Swapcard reached out as their team just started to work on the concept and scheduling for Evolve, their very first all-virtual event. We connected with the project stakeholders to define goals, give advice, temper expectations and outline key deliverables needed to be met within the project timeframe.
Within fifteen days, we onboarded over thirty conference speakers from around the world, helping them prepare for either live sessions or pre-recorded segments. Also, as with any other well-produced show, technical preparation, great lighting and excellent sound were key for the success of this online streaming event.
We connected with Swapcard’s back-end to synchronize session details, speakers and schedules. This guaranteed a smooth and fully integrated operation between Swapcard’s platform and our remote production unit throughout the show.
For three days, we streamed multiple back-to-back sessions, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., making all conference recordings available on-demand on Swapcard’s YouTube channel within an hour after the stream reached completion.
Results
In the end, 3 days, 50+ speakers, and 28 sessions were completed. The Evolve virtual event was a huge success. We delivered on meeting all of our client’s expectations, and at the same time we inspired the worldwide event community by setting a new standard for the industry.
