Project brief
The challenge
EBN, a network of EU-based startup incubators and accelerators, teamed up with EPEAK Studio and held their Congress 2020 as its first virtual event.
The change in format was in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and left the event organizers with a very short preparation time which included onboarding and organizing VIP speakers from the European commission.
What we did
Based on EPEAK Studios’ extensive virtual event hosting experience, the team provided guidance and advice to EBN as Congress 2020 was the network’s first virtual event.
EBN Congress 2020 was a mix of live and pre-recorded content, of which EPEAK Studio delivered on both live speaker preparation calls and conference pre-recordings within the project’s shortened deadlines.
Live and simulive content were seamlessly combined to create a unified viewing experience.
EPEAK Studio successfully navigated through all the challenging technicalities presented to them, including complying to security restrictions for the event’s VIP speakers currently working in government agencies.
Also, EPEAK Studio’s extensive technical expertise helped speakers connect from remote locations using satellite connections, while also performing specific tests to ensure optimal performance during the EBN Congress 2020 event.
Results
EBN Congress 2020 was a success and the client was very happy with its first virtual event.
EPEAK Studio successfully produced 20 sessions over 2 days, featuring 40 speakers and ultimately generated over 9 hours of exclusive content.
