The Challenge

The annual ESCAIDE symposium, hosted by the European Centre for Disease Control (ECDC) was designed as a hybrid event for 2021. ESCAIDE featured remote speakers from all over the world, as well as speakers presenting live directly from ECDC’s headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.

What We Did

EPEAK Studio managed and produced the 4-day ESCAIDE 2021 symposium, combining pre-recorded medical conference material, live discussion panels with researchers from all over the world, and live speeches from industry leaders.

To achieve success, EPEAK Studio integrated with the on-site A/V crew, providing seamless integration between on-site and remote speakers, while also producing all video streams remotely.

To oversee the project as a whole, EPEAK Studio once again worked closely with ECDC’s own event planning agency, Teamwork.

With a distributed workforce in the EU and in North America, EPEAK Studio successfully onboarded every speaker and prepped them to be ready on time, while also efficiently coordinating ESCAIDE 2021 during the event.

Results

ESCAIDE 2021 was successfully managed and flawlessly produced throughout its 4 days, hosting 220 speakers spread across 150 sessions, and producing 40 hours of video content.
