AMD celebrated the launch of their latest high-end desktop computer processor, code-named Threadripper. For the occasion, they teamed up with Absolute PC, ASUS ROG and Corsair to host a brand activation with France’s No.1 pro-overclocker, Wizerty.

The challenge
AMD wishes to celebrate the launch of its newest processor. Aimed purely at enthusiasts, they hope to host an event that demonstrates the amazing power of their new chip, Threadripper.
What we did

To highlight the amazing potential offered by the new processor, we decided to turn to French number one pro-overclocker Wizerty. With him, we held a marketing experiential using overclocking to highlight how much of a beast it is!
The event was held in partnership with Absolute PC – a computer store in Paris that has established itself as the leading system integrator specialized in high-end computer systems.
Two other brands from the industry – ASUS ROG and Corsair – also joined the celebration and contributed to the success of this activity.
Participants were able to operate the extreme cooled system using liquid nitrogen. Thrills were guaranteed!
Results
For both AMD and Absolute PC this activity was a success. With Absolute’s store filled to maximum capacity all along the day, all lights were green and every box was ticked.
