# Sherwin-Williams 2026 Sales Meeting

We connect BadgeIt! to Sherwin's data repository through process automation and API integration

We help our sister company BadgeIt! deploy automated process to support the on-demand printing of over 3500 custom badges for a major paint manufacturer's annual sales meeting and corporate convention

## The challenge

Sherwin-Williams organised a major sales and corporate meeting in February 2026, with over 3500 attendees and exhibitors. During this event, BadgeIt!, provided fast on-demand custom badge printing for staff, exhibitor and attendees. This time, badges were highly customized, based on the profile of each person. This includes displaying years of service, meal preference, or even VIP agenda items. To ensure the delivery of a flawless event, BadgeIt! mandated our software team to work on automated data integration processes between BadgeIt! and the client's information system on the Certain event platform. Read on to learn how we made information flow effortlessly, greatly reducing manual labour and virtually eliminating the possibility of badge printing errors.

## What we did

Large Scale Event Due to the scale of this event, the BadgeIt! team deployed 7 badge printers, 14 self check-in kiosks, 2 support technicians, to print over 3500 badges over this 4-day event. Check-in can be a pain point during events, and the BadgeIt! team made it it's mission to make this process as fast, easy and pain-free as possible. To achieve that, they relied on process automation and API data integration, which is where EPEAK Studio comes in. Highly Customized Badges This event featured 10 different ticket types, based on business units, with a different design for each. What's more, each badge was highly customized to display attendee-specific information, such as years of service meal preferences individual schedule dinner reservations with seating plan Automated Sync Of Information BadgeIt! tasked our software team with delivering a custom, automated API integration between their system and Sherwin-Williams's internal data repository. The goal? Real-time, effortless data flow between systems during the event, to ensure every badge gets printed with the most up-to-date information without the need for any manual input. Easy maintenance with low-code platforms Our software team developed easy-to-maintain API integrations between BadgeIt!, Certain (the event app), and Sherwin's internal database. By basing everything on low-code platforms, we enable easy maintenance, easy upgrades, and an easy handover to any team if necessary. Each integration is highly customizable, from what it does to how often it runs, in order to keep a balance between operational costs and convenience.

## Results

The outstanding automated processes delivered by our software team made a major contribution to the event's success. Indeed, this enabled event organisers and on-site customer service staff to focus on what matters most, without getting bogged down by manual information transfer or cross-checks. Thanks to the real-time availability of up-to-date information, Sherwin-Williams attendees got their badge printed right, the first time.
