# SFNet 76th Annual Virtual Convention SFNet's Annual convention goes 100% virtual during Covid-19 At the highs of Covid, SFNet's boldly embraced the virtual event trend and chose EPEAK Studio to produce their annual convention fully digital. A first for in the finance industry that brought... ## The challenge SFNet is an American organization known for providing financial businesses with support, advocacy, and education across a wide range of topics, as well as creating standards for the industry. After trusting EPEAK Studio with several smaller events in 2020, SFNet turned to EPEAK Studio again, this time to help produce its main annual event in a virtual format. ## What we did Building lasting relationships SFNet and EPEAK Studio have been building a lasting relationship since June 2020. EPEAK Studio started its partnership with SFNet by producing short half-day financial events, focusing on specific topics like “Women in Finance” or “Young Professionals”. These events allowed SFNet to progressively build up an audience of several thousand people for its larger annual event in November 2020. Mixing pre-recorded content with live keynotes For the SFNet annual convention, most of the content was pre-recorded. This is due to the high volume of sessions spread across three concurrent streams across three days. During the event, EPEAK Studio seamlessly combined simu-live panel discussions with live keynotes, providing a unified experience for the audience. Quick turnaround for VOD content EPEAK Studio also immediately made each day’s content available as VOD. As a result, it allowed audience members in various time zones to quickly tune in and catch up on missed sessions. In addition to the event’s production, EPEAK Studio created two educational videos for SFNet. The first video educates the event’s audience on how to use the virtual event platform chosen by the organizers [watch video]. The second video educates sponsors and business partners on the opportunities they get for advertising and exhibiting at SFNet’s online virtual events [watch video]. ## Results All the SFNet events were very successful. For SFNet’s larger annual event, EPEAK Studio managed three concurrent streams over three days, worked with a total of 160 speakers, presented 75 sessions, and produced 30+ hours of content.
