With the help of automated data integrations, our team streamlined the onboarding process for attendees and exhibitors. This helped event organizers save time, avoid redundant tasks and achieve better results with less effort. Read on to discover how we combined information from several data sources and made them converge in one central point: Connect+, IAAPA's dedicated event app. ## What we did EPEAK Studio delivered a range of high-value services such as on-site event support, consulting, and process automation supported by data integration. Process mapping IAAPA relies on several tools and data sources to manage their events. This includes registration of attendees, membership database, and on-site exhibitors and booth management. As a consequence, information can be distributed and duplicated, leading to inefficiencies in data processing. This also means that data reconciliation can be time-consuming and needs to happen regularly. To improve this, our team analysed data sets to come up with an automated reconciliation process, ensuring minimal duplication and automated data transfers into Connect+. For IAAPA, Connect+ is the one-stop companion event app, at the centre of the attendee & exhibitor experience during IAAPA Expos. Implementation Our team implemented the automated processes identified in the design phase using industry-leading tools. This includes low-code platforms, modern APIs, and cloud-based infrastructures. Each automated process is designed to be both time & cost-effective, and include built-in data integrity checks and error logs. As a result, our client gets a clear and real-time status on various KPIs including data quality and data integration progress. We also provide a dashboard with a list of errors with the appropriate recommended actions. On-site event support During event days, we deployed a team of experts to assist attendees and exhibitors with anything related to Connect+. Our experienced on-site event support staff combine excellent presentation, customer service and technical skills in order to help all users have a smooth Connect+ onboarding experience. By eliminating barriers, Connect+ adoption rates went up, meeting objectives fixed by the event organisers.
