ASUS OPEN OVERCLOCKING CUP
Season finale live stream and event video.
Season finale live stream and event video.
Each year, ASUS ROG in Russia hosts Europes largest overclocking tournament, the AOOC. For this 2014 edition ASUS pushed the content envelope and commissioned us with the production of both event video and live stream.
Live stream. Video production and post-production.
The challenge
ASUS ROG wants to show to the world that it can host a European scale tournament featuring top overclockers from the continent. It has to be streamed live on the internet with technical commentary. Also, the project must feature an event video as follow-up content for them to share locally and globally.
What we did
Live stream. Video production and post-production.
For this project we took care of both the live stream and video production. For the live stream, we’ve used a multi-camera setup with two expert caster at the analyst desk to guide the audience on Twitch about the competition.
At the same time, another crew tasked with the event video production recorded all day to capture the highlights of the tournament. Preparation, concentration, rivalry, hardships and the explosion of joy upon victory.
Results
With nearly twenty thousand viewers on the day, this tournament truly made it into list of legendary events. In addition to the live success, the event video was used locally in Russia and globally by ASUS ROG to further promote their involvement in the hardware performance tuning community.
